no embellishments whatsoever this week. still love this project. we went bowling and i got them to print our scores. i think i’ll add an 8.5×11 insert to keep the scores in. especially since i won the first round. ahem. and i painted like gangbusters and had a major breakthrough, so i included 3 prints of my favorite pieces. i’ve been meeting my friend in the mornings to run, and i look forward to it everyday, so i included a photo of our feet.
we booed our neighbors. does your neighborhood do that? it’s basically like a chain letter – you leave goodies on the porch of 2 neighbors and they do it to 2 other neighbors, etc. it was fun and the kids wore all black so we wouldn’t get caught. great memory! the girls had their pee wee championship and ran so well. maggie never got beat by another girl the whole season, and emmie was never worse than 5th place the whole year, including the boys. jack ran insanely awesome too and he’s looking forward to his championship next weekend. we had pumpkin decorating at my in-laws’ and the kids had fun with their cousins.

don’t you love this quote? i can’t imagine a more fitting one for me.
project life is a super simple way to document your life without buying all of that scrapbooking jazz. it’s working perfectly for me and my family.

i’m also posting this on the mom creative today.
I absolutely LOVE the project life idea and your pages are amazing! So well thought out and celebratory. Wondering, do you find that you live differently when you’re doing a project like this? I think I’d feel more gratitude and appreciation for things.. simple things, because I’d be taking the time to honour them.
Also, would be interested in finding out what binder you’ve chosen and sleeves? Can you tell I want to start this????
LOVE the quote. Monet has always been one of my favorite artists.
Love your portraits. They really are fantastic.
yes! i love that quote so much!
i love that you have such a creatively infused life xx
lina,
we don’t live differently because of the project except i probably take more photos. i DO notice that at the end of the week, when i’m assembling the album i realize how many great moments we have each week and how grateful i am! i am using the we r memory keepers album in buttercup from scrapbook.com and i’m using the becky higgins project life sleeves found on amazon. good luck – if you take on project life, let me know so i can check it out!
thank you cerise!
thank you leah!
